Consonance boosts MedTech startup acceleration at Rubik Garage accelerator

Consonance has recently joined forces with Rubik Garage, a leading Romanian accelerator program run by Rubik Hub, to drive MedTech startup acceleration across Central and Eastern Europe. As part of this partnership, Consonance becomes Rubik Garage’s MedTech partner, offering technical and strategic support to help healthcare startups move from idea to market-ready medical devices.

This collaboration strengthens both organizations’ shared mission in this cohort: empowering early-stage founders to build scalable, impactful solutions that address real clinical needs while meeting the strict demands of the medical device market.

Driving MedTech Innovation Across Europe

8th edition of Rubik Garage, its flagship program, focuses on MedTech startup acceleration for the first time. The program runs from October 2025 to February 2026 and is open to European startups at pre-MVP, MVP, or growth stage that are building impactful health solutions. Participation is free and equity-free.

The program offers tailored support depending on the stage of development:

Pre-MVP (TRL 3-5): From Proof of Concept to Prototype

  • Validate the technical and functional feasibility of solutions
  • Move from proof of concept to functional prototype
  • Prepare for early user testing and market readiness

MVP & Growth (TRL 6-8): From Testing to Market Traction

  • Validate technology in operational environments
  • Attract first customers or users
  • Refine the business model for growth, market entry, or fundraising

What’s in it for MedTech innovators?

The accelerator targets European startup teams working on solutions in medtech, healthtech, digital medical devices, digital health, health data, longevity, mental health, and consumer health.

Applicants must have:

  • Solutions at TRL 3-8
  • A founding team with medical expertise
  • Ambition to scale into European and global markets

As with all Rubik Hub programs, participation is free and equity-free, but teams must commit fully to the program. Applicants showing strong engagement will be prioritized.

Program Structure

The program starts on October 22, 2025, and includes:

  • 100+ hours of workshops, mentoring, and one-on-one feedback sessions
  • Meetings with investors, founders, and certified coaches
  • In-person gatherings: Milan Bootcamp (Nov 26–28, 2025) – networking with peers, mentors, and the Rubik Hub team and Demo Day (Feb 2026) – startups present their progress to investors, partners, and mentors

Expert Mentorship for MedTech Startup Acceleration

As part of the collaboration, two figures from Consonance have joined the Rubik Garage mentor network: Mariusz Mąsior, CEO of Consonance and Paweł Zieliński, Head of Marketing.

Together, they provide expert mentoring and workshops covering product development strategy, regulatory pathways, human-centered design, and market positioning for MedTech startups.
